Have a look at my French translation of CPE Bach's Versuch:

http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/scores/Instr.html#bach-cpe

There are short MusixTeX extracts in a LaTeX document.

The macros (or newcommands) \twoextr and \twoextrbis allow to
combine two short examples on the same line, with nice spacings.

The manual of MusiXTeX itself provided a great help to me. Hope it
will help you too. The source is in musixtex.zip on the site, under the
name musixdoc.tex
