Andre privately sent me the following pmx input file to activate the
problem:

===============================================
    2    2    4    4   0   6   0  1
    1      1        20       .09
Orig I
Orig II
bt
./
\\setname2{\vbox{\hsize\parindent\
\\centerline{Soprano}\centerline{Alto}}}\
r0 | r0 /
b44 c8 s b s a4 b8 s a s | g4 s f s e2 /
===============================================

It runs with 2.35 but not 2.352. The problem is due to the re-definition of
\centerline that I put into pmx.tex:

\def\centerline#1{{\def\\{\hss\egroup\medskip\par\line\bgroup\hss}%
  \line\bgroup\hss#1\hss\egroup}}

I did this at Dirk's suggestion without understanding what makes it work.
It allows multi-line titles, with
"\\" as a separator. Could Dirk or some other TeXpert pitch in here, and
see if there's a way to make it compatible?
