What I did was: download the zipped files and make a local tree for musixtex as I read in the miktex installation instructions. Knowing that cygwin is unix-like, edited the mentioned files in the linux howto and run mktexlsr. After that Tex works but with musixtex files issues an error that it can't find musixtex. I've read the file /cygwin/usr/share/texmf/ls-R, MUSIXTEX.TEX appears and all the files I installed. But still kpsewich can't find the required files. I suspect that it has something to do with tetex being case sensitive and cygwin not or the other way. I will try to install everything in my house to see what else I can find to debug this problem. If I find something else I'll post. By the way, I am using cygwin because I'm trying lilypond and I can't install cygwin and miktex in my 486 machine due to space problems. Thank you very much :) Jorge _______________________________________________ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://sunsite.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
