Sorry - it is first now that I realize that what you request is actually the opposite of what I advice you to do. You'll have to *remove* option -b from your prepmx calling script in order to get rid of the unwanted beaming. The effect of -b is to force beaming *even* in case of vocal music - which I personally prefer. Without option -b M-Tx behaves in the standard way, i.e. beams only melismas.
