I know every man and his dog has one of these but... This little bash script greps the .tex file and handles any external programs needed by \inputs i.e. the musixpss & mpost pass needed by the postscript slurs (M) package.
It will also optionally convert and display the .dvi and delete the handful of surplus files created during the build process. It's pretty simple to run mx.sh texfile Will compile the file and delete the surplus files mx.sh --display texfile Will compile and display the file and delete the surplu s file s mx.sh --keep texfile Will compile the file, without deleting the extra files made during the build. The parameters can be shortened to the first letter only (-k -d) and can be combined. anyway if you think this wold be useful you can grab it from http://members.optushome.com.au/j.mayes/scripts/mx.sh Cheers Joel -- Sourcemage GNU/Linux /~\ ASCII Ribbon campaign Linux so advanced it may as well be magic \_/ stop HTML mail and news x11 & doc section maintainer / \ http://search.keyserver.net:11371/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0x47856819
