Thanks for all answers. What I actually did not want, were the bar numbers in
the boxes that appear automatically at the beginning of each system. I wanted
to have my own barnumber frequency. The solution was to insert the following
lines at the beginning of the score:
\\def\writebarno{}\
\\def\freqbarno{1}\
