\psslursimplepositioningtrue has become obsolate and unsupported
since ver.0.50 released on this Jan 5.
Please use ver.0.50 and \psslurmode{dvips} instead of that.
The usage is same.
And also 'pdfTeX support' is available in only ver.0.50 (or later).

I once tried 'Type K' and this worked very fine with (at least)
dvips5.86 + ghostscript6.52 + AcroRead 4.05.
