Hello all!

As many of you know, I have been working on retranslating Luigi
Cataldi's Italian PMX manual back into English for some (much too
long) time.

Well, now it's finished, and in a way it's new: lots of
expansions, more examples, up to date regarding PMX version
(2.415), an index, etc. etc.

You will find it in the archive at

    http://icking-music-archive.org/software/indexmt6.html#pmx

It's brand new, so I am sure there are still some typos (and more
serious errors) in it. If you find any (large or trivial), please
let me know, so I can correct them.

ATTENTION: If you take a look at Ch. E "Tricks of the Trade", you
will see contributions from several of you -- some
literally only a few days old -- and at the end of
this chapter an encouragement to submit your own
           ideas.

           Please take this seriously!
Your anwsers to specific PMX problems, as posted in
this list, not only help the people who asked, but
often enough are of general interest, and it's good
to be aware of them. In such cases, if they are
collected in "Tricks of the Trade", thet are much
easier to retrieve than via the TeX-music archive.
