In pmx i use this code for shifting the arpeggios

\\let\rap\arpeggio\
\\let\rap\raisearp\
....
\\\def\arpeggio#1#2{\loffset{1}{\rap{#1}{#2}}\let\arpeggio\rap}\
\\\def\raisearp#1#2{\loffset{1}{\rap{#1}{#2}}\let\raisearp\rap}\

Subject: [Tex-music] PM arpeggios

Dear fellow PMX/M-Tx typesetters

I've run into a problem with the PMX arpeggio command ('?') while preparing
an M-Tx typeset solo song with accompaniment. In this song there is an
arpeggio on a chord across the right- and left hand staves. The result of
applying the PMX arpeggio is that the arpeggio wavy line almost clashes
with the noteheads and that it overwrites the chord accidentals. I tried in
vain to append signed digits to the '?' commands in order to left offset
the arpeggio symbol. Hence I ended up using inline musixtex instead. Did I
possibly encounter a PMX bug or could I have tweaked the symbol on PMX
level?

The song in question, 'Rr ej min Lok!' by Thomas Laub is now in the
archive (http://icking-music-archive.org/ByComposer/Laub.html). The M-Tx
source used is the file ritornel2.mtx found in the accompanying zipped
source archive.
