I got Acro4.05 and now everything are well. I had a look now at 1/3rd of the
library. and had no problem. But promised is promised. If owners
we are all owners :-)

what I would like you to do is to test with acrobat 5 and/or 6 scores typeset with musixtex et el. dating from _after_ Feb. 2003 when the most recent musixtex type 1 fonts were published. My daily scanning of the archive is limited to scores published before that. However, some contributions from after that date might very well suffer from the same problem if the typesetters didn't update their own type 1 fonts appropriately!
