I have the pleasure of announcing a brand new search facility for the sheet music of the Werner Icking Music Archive. The search facility is linked to near the upper left corner of the main Icking Archive web page.
The new search facility has been developed and provided by the IT-staff of The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, Denmark hosting the Icking Archive. The searching is based on an electronic index of the free sheet music archive of the Music Conservatory. This archive is called RAMA and encompasses the complete Icking Archive sheet music collection plus scores provided by teachers of the Music Conservatory.
The new search facility should be fairly intuitive. I encourage all of you to test it thoroughly and report any problems back to me.
Monday Febr. 16 there will be held a reception at the Music Conservatory of Aarhus to celebrate the official opening of the RAMA/Icking archives.
