Thanks, Olivier. Evidently some bogus invisible characters crept into the
source files, but they didn't affect my compilations within the visual
FORTRAN development environment. I think I corrected them in a new version
of the source that I put into the zip, without renaming the source file or
zip that contains it. Please check it out and let me know if there are still
problems.

A long time ago someone suggested I always include pmx.tex in the beta
distributions. When I put this one together I remembered and acted on that
long-ago request.

There's no particular reason, and I changed it back to pmxab.exe in the
revised zip.
