Vedran-- There are some examples of both items you mentioned in the software archive
http://icking-music-archive.org/software/indexmt6.html . (Please beware of line-folded URL's). There are various side-by-side sources and compiled examples for MusiXTeX, PMX, and M-Tx in the following manuals: http://icking-music-archive.org/software/musixtex/musixdoc.pdf , http://icking-music-archive.org/software/pmx/pmxccn.pdf (not the official PMX manual, but this "tutorial" has many more examples), http://icking-music-archive.org/software/mtx/mtx055.pdf . Since these programs run on many different platforms there cannot be any single end-to-end script. But there is an example for Linux called mdvi, which starts with an M-Tx source and generates a dvi file, at http://icking-music-archive.org/software/musixtex/add-ons/mdvi-0_5_0.tar.gz . Under DOS/Windows, I activate the following command line alias from a 4DOS window to generate a postscript file when starting from a PMX source: c:\mydocu~1\pmx\work\debug\pmxwork %1^iff errorlevel==0 then^del %1.mx?^tex %1^musixflx %1^tex %1^dvips -tletter -O0.25in,-0.22in %1^else^echo You blew it^endiff Again, this is obviously very specific to my own setup. I hope you are aware that the preprocessors PMX (for instrumental music) and M-Tx (for vocal) can immensely simplify the process compared to using raw MusiXTeX. --Don Simons > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Vedran > Vucic > Sent: Sunday, May 09, 2004 3:29 PM > To: Typesetting music with TeX > Subject: Re: [TeX-music] typesetting > > > > Dear colleague, > > > Thank you very much on your supportive words.
