The only thing that is not very clear to me is the installation of musixflx:
I didn't know exactly what to move into the directory
'/usr/share/bin/local',
so I moved there the entire directory 'musixflx' from the file musixflx.zip.
Was that right?

No.
- Unzip the file musixflx.zip in a temporary directory.
- cd to the directory musixflx extracted from the zip file
- give the command:
gcc -O2 -o musixflx musixflx.c
to compile the program into an executable
- copy the executable 'musixflx' to the directory
/usr/local/bin
- you may now delete the file musixflx.zip and the
files that you extracted from it.

In the directory musixflx there are compiled versions of musixflx for most systems - copy the one in musixflx/Linux-I86 to your directory /usr/local/bin. Of course, compiling the source (as described above) should give the same results :-)
