With MusiXTeX as-is, AFAIK no. But I remember I've had that wish myself at
some point. A thorough solution would be to extend MusiXTeX by kind of a
"parameterized" volta typesetting; you could then choose at which staves
volta brackets shall appear with a command like \printvolta{2,5}.

I'll sit down and try to work out such a solution, provided that it is
considered useful. Perhaps it could even be incorporated into musixtex.tex
at some time.

That was challenging. It seems to be due to a musixtex.tex bug that
becomes effective when the uppermost staff of a system has a different
music size than the uppermost staff of a bracketed group, which is the
case in your score.

For me, using the attached musixtex.tex "repair" named bracket.tex solves
the problem. I've included it with "%%\\input bracket\" before the line
"%%\\let\endpiecesav\Endpiece\". (The repair refers to MusiXTeX T.112; I
don't know which other versions it also works together with.)

Best regards,

Rainer
