I've just uploaded PMX beta 2.504 to
http://icking-music-archive.org/software/pmx/pmx2504.zip
The only new feature is an option X[x] to the G command, which inserts a space of x notehead widths between a normal grace and the main note.
I've published a PMX typesetting of A.Dvorak, Humoreske, Op. 101, No. 7 making use of the new option. Works great! My typesetting source is a scanned in 'free' score found in John Mamoun's "The Sheet Music Archive" (http://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/).
I've encountered a few other minor problems with that score:
- I can't get the PMX interstaff factor (AI) to actually increase the space between the right- and left hand staves. I've probably overlooked something important? My workaround is in-line musixtex.
- in the middle section (bar 25 ff) of the Humoreske I'd like to horizontally offset the right hand staccato dots such that they align vertically with the stems rather than with the note-heads. The staccato dots need to be placed above the stems due to the lower right hand voice. However, pmx doesn't seem to consider decimal numbers as horizontal offset values. To me it looks like the decimal values are rounded (or truncated) during parsing.
