I'm actually aware of it, but the representation is not very well
adapted for gregorian chant, and it does not support it, at least
according to what I can see on the site. I could improve MusicXML for it
to support gregorian chant, but the reason why I don't really want to do
this is the fact that MusicXML is not under GPL.
In fact the project has not started yet, so I can't tell you if we are
going to define a new XML format or improve MusicXML, but I would prefer
creating a new format fully adapted to gregorian chant and under GPL.
