Trouble is that
http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=TeXpronounce uses the
IPA character [x], which is the one for pronouncing Bach.
I tried for a while to pronounce "Loch", "Bach", "ich", and "TeX", and
for me it's really *four* different sounds, even if I must admit that
the first two and the last two belong to different families.
But I fear that the only way to know the correct pronunciation is to
ask Don Knuth to utter the word and send us the resulting audio file.
After all, he is aware of icking-music-archive.org, and this is not
much of a nuisance :-)
