Olivier, Many thanks for reply. I have just installed the Linux o/s at my PC. I can start the download you mentioned. But it's a bit inconvenient to change the whole o/s, if I have a problem with one application. Do you know other important changes from version 10.0 to 10.0 that suggest me to update?
I fixed the FORTRAN files as your links advises, and PMX works as expected. Unfortunately noteedit 2.7.3 exports errorneous PMX files. The line ends have sometimes additional characters. Eg "e2 zpg" instead of "e2 zg /" or "/h" instead of "/". So I cannot use the output immediately. Since noteedit is under development again I will post a bugreport there. But the object to use noteedit was only to enter the score faster and more convenient. I think this is achieved now. I mean 10.1. You can download the iso here: ftp://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/iso > ln pmxab.for pmxab.f > f2c pmxab.f -Nx400 -Nn802 > gcc -g pmxab.c -lf2c -lm -o pmxab > > This compiled fine and I copied pmxab as well as the pmx script to > ~/bin. > > Unfortunately pmxab crashes immediately in startup as long you specify > any command line argument. Using gdb I got the location: > > Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. > 0x40034982 in getarg_ () from /usr/lib/libf2c.so.0 > Did you edit pmxab.f according to these instructions: http://icking-music-archive.org/software/musixtex/musixtex-for-unix.html#TOC 16 Olivier _______________________________________________ TeX-music mailing list [email protected] http://icking-music-archive.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-music _______________________________________________ TeX-music mailing list [email protected] http://icking-music-archive.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
