Dear all.
In agreement with M-Tx author Dirk Laurel I've released a patch/test
version 0.60a of M-Tx. See

The changes comprise
- a fix for musicsize 13 as posted by Dirk in TeX-Music July 17
- a change in handling of ties notated with the { bla bla } syntax.
At conversion to PMX format such ties are now reflected in MIDI output
- a change in handling of meters. Until now whole-note- 1/16-, 1/32-
and 1/64 meters expressed with PMX syntax (eg. m2/0, m4/1, m4/3 and
m4/6) have not been working with M-Tx.
With version 0.60a M-Tx meter syntax is now using 'real life' numbers
for denominators, eg. m2/1, m4/16, m4/32 and m4/64. At conversion to
PMX format these meter expressiosn get converted to PMX format.
I encourage M-Tx users to try out M-Tx version 0.60a thoroughly and
report any observations to me and/or Dirk.
