Hey a Mac user :) Let's be friends :D

On the Icking Music Archive site there are two things to download : PMX and musixflx.

Then (when you've installed them) here are the operations to do in the Terminal (I use emacs to edit my .pmx file, under X11 because it is better for emacs).
Let [filename] be the name of your file [filename].pmx.

$ ./pmxab [filename].pmx

Then you'll have a .tex file, compile it under TeXShop.
You'll have notes in a curious way (by the way Christian Mondrup, I sent you a mail for months where I was asking you why the notes were squashed).
So just do :

$ musixflx [filename]

Then recompile under TexShop. You'll be fine :)

Tell us if you have any questions :)

I’ve finally got round to installing TeXshop as recommended by Olivier Vogel. But now I find that TeXshop does not recognize the .pmx extension and thus ignores syntax colouring and my custom typesetting engines. So what is the best way to run PMX under TEXshop?

Thanks in advance,
Adam Fenn.
