I've just uploaded a new PMX beta to http://icking-music-archive.org/software/pmx/pmx2515.zip
It contains two bug fixes I'll tell you about, and a few others I won't bore you with. 1. I corrected an error in automatic forced beams. Before the fix, if the beam did not start an integral number of beam durations from the start of the bar, incorrect results would occur. Note that neither the "rules" nor the syntax have not changed. As stated in pmx250.pdf, "... if the option : (colon) is included in the starting command [ for a forced beam, then henceforth beams of the same duration will be forced in that voice, until stopped. They will be stopped at either the next regular forced beam, or the end of the input block for that voice, whichever comes first." An important restriction that is not explicitly stated at that point in pmx250.pdf but is explained elsewhere and does affect this option, is that no forced beam of any sort can go across a barline. Thus if your automatic forced beam pattern would cause a beam to cross a barline, and if you do not terminate it (with a normal forced beam) in the same bar, you'll get an error. 2. Fermatas over centered whole-bar rests are now properly centered over the rest. As usual, I'd appreciate folks trying to break these fixes and report back. Happy holidays to everyone! --Don Simons _______________________________________________ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.daimi.au.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
