As far as I'm concerned ... no, I haven't seen this idiom before. 
(Just curious whether '/P' is the same as '/ P' ...)

Nevertheless, it's not really a surprise that this code has some
similarities to other, well-known music description languages (PMX, 
LilyPond, ...).
