Hello Everyone, I would like to agree with Christian that changing transpositions mid-score would be useful. I have almost finished typesetting the Nonetto Op. 107 by Bertini; he switches between trumpets in F and D. It would be nice to be able to have the score indicate what was originally written, generate the parts which Bertini wrote (in case a player happens to have the original trumpets), automatically generate a part for a trumpet in Bb, and on top of that to have a midi file for aural proofreading.

You may also change transposition mid-score, for example between clarinets in Bb and A, see http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.12/Documentation/user/lilypond/Displaying-pit ches#index-transposing-instrument-1 -- Christian Mondrup, Archive Editor WIMA: Werner Icking Music Archive http://icking-music-archive.org/ _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list If you want to unsubscribe or look at the archives, go to http://mailman.nfit.au.dk/mailman/listinfo/icking-music-archive.org-tex- music _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list If you want to unsubscribe or look at the archives, go to http://mailman.nfit.au.dk/mailman/listinfo/icking-music-archive.org-tex-music
