Hiroaki-- I've dealt with this "feature" many times. You have to make PMX think the 2nd segments were "upper" beams before being joined, so when it automagically flips the up-downness they become lower beams and the correct termination command is used. (I usually need to experiment a little to get this right whenever the issue comes up). I did include a brief comment about it in the manual: "Sometimes the ending section's up-downness must be overridden; you will know this is so if the ending is shifted horizontally from its proper position."
