Why are the long beams overshooting the last stem in the following
sequences of notes inégales?

\Notesp\ibl2g1\qb2{.h}\en
\notes\tbbl2\qb2j\en
\Notesp\qb2{.i}\en
\notes\tbbl2\qb2k\en
\Notesp\qb2{.j}\en
\notes\tbbl2\tbl2\qb2k\en
\Notes\ibu0h1\qb0{.g}\roff{\tbbu0\qb0h}\en
\Notes\qb0{.^g}\roff{\tbbu0\qb0i}\en
\Notes\qb0{.h}\roff{\tbbu0\tbu0\qb0i}\en

I used both upper and lower beams and both explicit spacing
(Notesp/notes) and shifts (roff) to demonstrate that the same issue
arises with all variants.
