fwiw, i've been trying to keep the tex-related part of the wima
up-to-date on ctan. this isn't always easy: i retired hurt from trying
to use wget's supposed mirroring facilities, which has meant ctan
doesn't have anything whose announcement i've missed. (or which wasn't
announced in the first place.) also, i've only kept the latest version
of things.

however, that's only the software, which could presumably be hosted at
osuosl anyway.

more serious is the digital music archive; the only other such that i've
ever dealt with is sibeliusmusic[*], and that is more restrictive about
what it will hold. (i'm not sure exactly what it does hold -- all i've
ever got from it is midi-generated music and printable stuff.)
