Before I set about reinventing the wheel, can anybody tell me (I still haven't found any documentation for the WMN package, although reading through the test file, it seems fairly straightforward) is there a set of macros to generate appropriate F and C clefs for use with WMN? (I /like/ the design of the oldGclef).

I read through musixwmn.tex. This file works:

\input musixtex
\input musixexp
\input musixgre
\input musixwmn
%
\instrumentnumber{1}%
\setclefsymbol1\empty
\startmuflex
\nostartrule

\startpiece%
\NOtes\wmnCclef 8\uptext{pauses}\wmnlpause e\wmnmpause g\wmnspause e%
\wmnllpause g\wmnlmpause e\wmnsspause f\en
\bar%
\NOtes\uptext{brevis}\wmnbrevis{fg}\wmnlongalu{fg}\wmnlonga{fg}%
\wmnlongaru{fg}\wmnbrevisb{fg}\wmnlongablu{fg}\wmnlongab{fg}%
\wmnlongabru{fg}\en
\stoppiece
%
\startpiece%
\NOtes\wmnFclef 5\uptext{semi-brevis}\wmndia{fg}\wmndiau{fg}\wmndiad{jk}%
\wmndiabu{fg}\wmndiabd{jk}\wmndiabhu{fg}\wmndiabhd{jk}\en
\endpiece

\end

Is it what you want? Note that I removed all unnecessary spaces, otherwise I got a heavy bar at line ends.
