Too bad no one has responded with a solution. Obviously, a search in musixps.tex for tftie comes up empty, so I guess I lied when I wrote that in musixdoc. I'd bet you could somehow change the curvature with some tex commands that alter the parameters, but that's one for the TeXperts.
