Here is a crude way to do it:

=====================================
---
\input musixtex
\input musixper
---
2 2 4 4 4 4 0 0
1 1 20 0.08
Perc
Mel
tt
.\
\\setclefsymbol1\drumclef\
\let\qut\qu\def\qu#1{\xqu{#1}\let\qu\qut}\ f44 f \let\qu\kqu\ f f /
c44 e f g /
=====================================

The first form only alters one note; the second is sticky. Perhaps one of
the TeXperts can concoct a macro \percnote{x} that will in effect precede
the next note command with x, where x could be any one OR two letters such
as dc, dh, do, x, ox, ro, tg, k.
