Philipp, I'm terribly sorry you're have such problems with MAC OS. Since I don't do MAC, I'm afraid I can't help much, although I'm going to be near one over Thanksgiving and if this is still going on I can spend a little time on it. Just FYI, the message about the last non-blank character comes from PMX, but not the one "open: No such file or directory apparent state: unit 12 named."
