Dear Don,
On page 54 of the manual (2.14.3) the trebleowoct are mentioned, with an
example that explain how they work.
Are there more commands?

Subject: [Tex-music] Documentation for smalltreblelowoct etc.
I'm very close to having a full distribution of MusiXTeX 1.15. But there is
one item I'd like someone to volunteer to help me with: testing and
documentation of the new commands \treblelowoct, etc. They are included in
Hiroaki Morimoto's beta 4:
http://homepage1.nifty.com/kuuku/pub/musixtex/musixtex-T115beta4.zip at
Hermann Hinsch's request.
Unfortunately it's not simply a matter of adding them to a list of commands
already described, because the corresponding commands \smalltrebleclef etc.
are not mentioned in the manual, and don't need to be; they are activated
automagically whenever you go through the multi-step process of changing a
clef after the start of a piece.
So what I'm asking is that someone first test how they work, and then add
some text to explain it in section 2.14.3. The testing should be done at
several different baseline font sizes. If you want to get fancy, you could
add an example in that same section, or---if you're really
adventurous---modify or append to the one currently on p. 56.
The pdf of the current manual is at

and the tex file for the new one is at
