I am aware of the key signature but will insert it in the tex file and
not in the PMX becaus whenever
I use a tex command in PMX I get the following:

Although I copied exactly your suggestion
\\setsign2{-2}\
into the exact same spot. I tried it with an added % at the end, but
still the same.
