I suggest you start with the musical equivalent of HelloWorld before
getting fancy with "masterpieces".

The following compiles successfully and is presumably what you intended:

\input musixtex
\generalmeter{\meterfrac44}
\setstaffs11
\startpiece
\notes\qu{lll}\zqu{l}\ql{_i}\enotes
\bar
\notes\qu{l}\Dqbu{k}{j}\qu{ki}\enotes
\bar
\notes\qu{j_hm}\Dqbu{i}{=h}\enotes
\bar
\notes\zqu{i}\ql{h}\qu{gl}\zqu{i}\ql{e}\enotes
\bar
\notes\qu{h}\cu{fh}\qu{i}\zqu{i}\ql{f}\enotes
\alaligne
\notes\zqu{i}\ql{e}\cu{gh}\zqu{i}\ql{^f}\cu{jk}\enotes
\bar
\notes\qu{l}\zqu{l}\hl{f}\qu{m}\zqu{^k}\ql{^f}\enotes
\bar
\notes\zqu{i}\ql{e}\qu{iiii}\Dqbu{h}{g}\zqu{h}\ql{f}\qu{h}\zqu{k}\ql{_h}\qu{i}\zqu{h}\ql{d}\Dqbu{i}{=h}\enotes
\endpiece
\end
