Rutger Hofman has submitted to WIMA the following link:

https://github.com/rfhh/lily-contribs/blob/master/pmx2ly/pmx2ly.py

to a script that converts PMX to Lilypond format.

He says:

pmx2ly is work-in-progress, and I think it will stay that way
forever because pmx can embed arbitrary (Musix)Tex. I tried and
extended it for a number of pmx scores on IMSLP. The script
supports a number of (Musix)Tex commands, but of course not all.
For an unsupported TeX function, there are basically two options:
  1) add a name and definition/expansion to tex_dispatch_table in
the script 2) add a hint to ignore the tex command via the command
  line --tex-ignore <function> <arguments>
