www.cutepdf.com - completely free (might need to be careful not to install advertising in its latest version) and it gives you a convenient PDF conversion dialog for other applications. It's a wrapper around GPL GhostScript (which you also have to have installed). The printer it installs is fine for generating postscript output using "Print to file" if you need that too.
