In the Add-ons sub-section at WIMA, there's a new link to a website for an old package (last updated in 2002) that supports typesetting of bagpipe music with MusiXTeX. It is easily adapted to use modern MusiXTeX by uncommenting the \let\usemusixtex line. The PDF examples on that page are faulty (fonts not embedded) but usable examples are given at
