Is code from scores on WIMA automatically GPL unless explicitly
stated otherwise?

A:

That's the wrong question. Code submitted in engraving files
(MusiXTeX, PMX, M-Tx) is not on WIMA, it's on IMSLP, where
it has not GPL but a Creative Commons license.
