Dear all,
Something over ten years ago I cooked up a number of macros for
notating lifted non-spacing rests on the following pattern:
\def\liftqp#1{\raise#1\Interligne\rlap\qp}
Subsequently I added these:
\def\qpr#1{\liftqp{#1}}
\def\qpl#1{\liftqp{-#1}}
to speed up notation a bit more and avoid having to type braces and
negative numbers.
Fast-forward to today and suddenly these macros produce SPACING rests
-- which created mayhem when I tried to recompile my old typesettings
with my current installation of MikTeX and versions of MusixTeX dating
from between last autumn and the present. Has something been changed
in the coding of \qp and other rests in musixtex.tex compared to ten
years ago? And how do I go about restoring the non-spacing property of
my rest macros?
