Hello all, the extra flat is in the xml produced by frescobaldi. To get back to the original question. Does anyone know some other way to get pmx, m-tx or tex from nted?

Unless the problem is with XML2PMX or pmx. Or rather say a little more clearly *where* you have these extra flats (in the LilyPond code, the exported MusicXML, some consuming application, ...) For all the experimentality, this doesn't really look like a typical case of the exporter's limitations.
