It introduces several new features: + \meterN + \xxtuplet + pointed half-notes \hap \happ analogous to \qap \qapp + abbreviations \nqqb \nqqh \nqqqb \nqqqh and synonyms \nqql \nqqu \nqqql \nqqqu + \hbsk analogous to \hsk + \bqsk \bhsk \btsk analogous to \qsk \hqsk \tqsk and eliminates \ds@oup.
