Hi, Dieter, and happy new year!
Yes, it is a bug or a feature :) For now, it looks like you could get the dots where you want them by moving the dot on the opposite note. I will look into the coding…I’ve already located some comments about switching notes in chords when there are 2nds. It’s not surprising this has never come up before, since it depends on the 2nd, the dots, and the down stem. I assume you noticed that the horizontal location of the notes is a little flaky too…you’d think they should be the same distance from the rest in both cases. More as it develops. --Don From: TeX-Music [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dieter Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2018 2:01 AM To: Werner Icking Music Archive <[email protected]> Subject: [Tex-music] PMX : moving dots Hi Don, please have a look at this example. ====================================== 1 1 4 4 4 4 0 0 0 2 20 0 t ./ w200 r8 b43d+0+1 zc r8 b43ld+0+1 zc / ==================================== The 2nd dotted note with a low stem moves the wrong dot. Is this a bug or a feature? Regards, Dieter
