The 2018 edition of this TeX distribution has been released. It provides musixtex (1.27), pmx (2.84), M-Tx (0.63) and autosp (2018-02-23) for over 20 platforms, including MacOSX. It can be installed in parallel with older editions. Follow the instructions at
