Dirk Baack has reported that meter indications are too large
for larger music sizes. After investigations it has been
determined that the issue was caused by a workaround that
had been added to pmxab to address what was thought to be
a bug in musixtex.tex. In fact the bug was in pmx.tex but
that was fixed in 2015, leaving the workaround that then was
spurious.
Bottom line: If you use PMX with larger music sizes, either
remove lines of the form
\def\meterfont{...}
from pmx-generated .tex files, or delete or comment out
the code in the pmxab source that generates those lines
and rebuild pmxab. This will eventually happen in the
next release of PMX.
