I'm still not convinced it's worth the effort. If someone has a particular piece in mind that they want the source for, they could just use the existing IMSLP system to look for scores of that piece, and then scan thru the listing so see if any of them comes with source files. However, if anyone really wants spend the effort go forward with this, maybe the goal should be not to create a separate repository for the source files, but simply to create a high-level "Sources" page leading to an index of only those specific scores that have source files, with links to the scores and source files in the current repository. The system could possibly make it possible to do a filtered search by source type.
