Actually, PDFtoMusic and Sharpeye complete themselves one another, as the first does not deal with PDF scores coming from scanning, whereas the second one needs its input TIFF image to be the result of a scanning... From this point of view, Sharpeye is more general and would have more possibilities... although in my experience PDFtoMusic is more clever...
