I've released a package based on Dieter Glötzel's MusicXML-to-PMX converter. The package currently supports Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms but it is hoped additional platforms will be supported in the future.
Version 0.23 of the musixtex.lua script supports pre-preprocessing of MusicXML files and is included in the package. http://icking-music-archive.org/software/xml2pmx/xml2pmx.zip Please report problems with the executables or the Linux build system to me.
