Gerhard—
You’re right, it is not currently built into PMX . I’ll take a look in code and see what would be needed to implement it. In the meanwhile I tried to come up with a work-around, by putting the after-grace as a normal grace on the following note, and increasing the gap to the main note with the X option so it would move the graces to the left. This would probably work if it all happened in the same bar, but not across a bar line. As an aside, I tried finding the Chopin piece on imslp, and I couldn’t. Piano Sonata #1 doesn’t have a Scherzo. Sonata #2 does have one, and it’s in ¾ meter in E flat minor, but I didn’t see the trill you’re trying to typeset. ??? --Don From: TeX-Music <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Gerhard Eber Sent: Wednesday, February 17, 2021 1:12 AM To: 'Werner Icking Music Archive' <[email protected]> Subject: [Tex-music] 2 grace notes I tried to put a grace note before and another one after the main note. This seems to be impossible and probably a principal limitation in pmx, although it is not mentioned in the manual.
