A software engineer has reported an uninitialized-variable bug in the utility function grep in m-tx. If you're an m-tx user and have experienced issues that might be attributed to this, please let me know. The bug at issue is in Dirk's Pascal sources but presumably he never encountered it or perhaps the fpc compiler he used would quietly fix the issue in some way; however, the most likely naive "solution", initializing the Boolean variable to false, would actually be incorrect.
