Fantastic, thanks!  Yes, I suspected that creating a "phantom" new beam
would be the only possible solution but was afraid I was missing something...
Without that "dirty" trick, it seems to be impossible to please at the same time
both the second and the fourth note of the beam, whether with "\ibu1" or with
"\ibl1": "\ibu" making the second note fail and "\ibl" making the
fourth note fail
instead.
